Prescribing guidance has been agreed around quantities of stoma bags and other products required for stoma care. Initial prescriptions should be set up by the stoma specialist and any alterations to prescribed products should be approved by them. A Patient Information Leaflet has also been produced to guide patients on the process for ordering their stoma-related products.
